Dear fellow citizens, taxpayers, and SSS & GSIS contributors/pensioners,

Our collective efforts are bearing fruit now. The bill's proponents are now saying they're open to dialogues. 

There's a congressional "briefing" tomorrow where we have been invited. The bill is among the "other matters" to be discussed. 

We intend to submit the initial signatures to the legislators as proof of our united opposition to the bill.

The bill's proponents seem on track with their plan to pass the bill in the plenary sessions on December 12. We must prepare to march to the streets if they persist. Big labor unions, including the biggest teachers' organizations (who form the bulk of GSIS members) are all against the bill too.

We can win this fight if we carry on. Tuloy ang laban!
