Summer has finally arrived and SCT&W would like to give you a bit of news though minimal at best. It is hard to believe it was end of March that we last had an update regarding 133 Essex. And again this week, there still is very little to report. But just so you know we ARE watching and paying attention, here is the latest:

The outcome of the developer's Appeal of the Planning Board's unanimous decision to deny permits for 133 Essex has yet again been extended to August 18th. Thereafter, court hearings will proceed in the Superior Court for the Storm Water and the Land Court for the Senior Housing. Actual mediation between both the Planning Board and the developer will now begin mid July.

The expression, 'no news is good news' may play into our hands. So be patient and know we are monitoring the situation. As planting our gardens this summer takes one step at a time, know the prize may lie ahead.
