TO OUR LOYAL SCT&W SUPPORTERS...both young and old:

We greatly appreciate your ongoing support for our efforts to protect the important land, open space and watershed of the 133 Essex Street property!

It was a major victory in our efforts for the Planning Board to vote 5 out of 7 members to deny the permit for proposed development of the Chebacco Hill Capital Partners, LLC.  However, the process is not over!  
 
There are currently two appeals that have been filed by the developer (CHCP) in an effort to continue to move towards the blasting, building and destruction of this valuable land.  A critical hearing for one of these appeals is on January 5, 2023 at 10:45am.  At that time, the Land Court will hold a Case Management Conference regarding the CHCP appeal of the Planning Board’s denial of the special permit.  
 
Please attend and listen in if you are able to.  This will allow the Court to realize there is ongoing significant public support for the Planning Board’s denial of this permit for the development.

The attorneys for the Planning Board and CHCP will be the participants in the call along with Judge Speicher and his clerk.
