Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow- Melody Beattie
Last night's open public meeting is now behind us. Any public comments, letters and input have been closed. We thank each and every one of you who attended, listened and even spoke. We came, we delivered and we closed with strong support to meet our goal.
Thank you for taking a stand in this huge environmental protection effort. Thank you for listening to us all these months. Thank you for learning what could be at stake. Thank you for your continued support. YOUR concerns left their mark. YOUR support helped magnified our message.
Tuesday, August 16th, the Planning Board will have their next meeting. And though no public comment or input is any longer accepted, we will be able to tune in and listen to their deliberations. The Planning Board's job has been equally as arduous. We wish them well in their deliberations. There will need to be five (5)"yay" to pass the Special Permit or three (3) "nay" to deny the Special Permit and achieve what we set out to do: SAVE 133 Essex from this development. All of our social networking will continue until a vote is heard so keep your eyes peeled.
Our gratitude can not be measured,
SCT&W Team
