Paint the Hamburg NY water tower to look like a hamburger

Hamburg, New York has a unique opportunity. Our town's name closely resembles the classic American food, as well as a water tower which is shaped similarly. I would like to propose that we re-paint this piece of our towns history to look like a hamburger.
Erie County, in which Hamburg is located, earns $1.6 billion annually through tourism and nearly 6% of its jobs relate to tourism. The Erie County Fairgrounds brings a variety of events to hamburg. This includes the annual Burgerfest, and the Erie county fair. By painting the water tower to look like a hamburger it would not only put Hamburg, but Western New York on the map with this iconic infrastructure project. In September 2017, we will present the Hamburg Town Board a petition with at least 1,000 signatures to paint the water tower to look like a hamburger.
