We, the international citizens signed below, received with great shock and deep concern your security agencies' arrest of journalist Ayman Al Aloul and activist Ramzi Herzallah. We have confirmed information that the arrest happened without following any legal procedure. There is no court conviction. We consider this arrest to be a clear attack on freedom of speech and a bid by your ad hoc authorities to silence any criticism of their gross violation of human rights.

We demand that your security agencies release without any hesitation the mentioned journalist and activist. We also urge your authorities to stop any future arbitrary arrest of opponents and allow free flow of information.
