The planning commission meeting was last night, July 16th. The land owner presented his building idea and wants to put four triplexes, each with their own rear parking. As well as put two entrances, one on 17th Street and the other on Russell Street. Another gentleman and I were the only ones present to oppose the rezoning. It seemed the commission already had their minds made up and didn't really put our thoughts into consideration. Needless to say they are going to recommend the rezoning to the city council. The city council meeting is on August 8th at 6:30 pm in the City Council Chambers at 1300 9th Street.
