Is Premier Tim Houston's Nova Scotia Department of Health determined to wreck Halifax's public realm for the QEII hospital expansion? They've cut down ~twenty trees on the Halifax Common. Now they want Parks Canada to pave green space on the Halifax Citadel National Park's Garrison Grounds for parking.
Please send a short message by April 24
Do Not Pave the Garrison Grounds: It's a historic place of gathering, playing, sports, concerts, relaxing and fun on the Halifax Citadel National Park. More parking on any green space is bad for the health, well-being and safety of citizens, guests, the climate and environment. Paving a National Park harms our social, cultural, historic, health, environmental values. Support better transportation options instead.
