The petition calling for the ban of dogs in cemeteries has cited an article from 2017 in Angus Council where a ban on dogs in cemetries was being campaigned for.
For a full view of the facts the article below from 2018 stated due to opposition no ban had been put in place and any decision would have to be made by looking at both points of view.
Looking at the current rules of Angus cemetries they did not ban dogs.

This just goes to show that we can do this!
It also shows how much people need to be careful about believing information from the people wanting the ban as they may not be giving a full picture, this may be accidental or deliberate it's not for us to say.
