Firstly I’d like to thank each and every person who helped bring this subject to the attention of our local community councillors.
With nearly 1800 signatures they had to listen and take action.
Cllr Bethan Price was very pro active and took her concerns to Pembrokeshire Council Cabinet Members along with Cllr Mark Carter and Cllr Neil Prior to remove the closure of the civic amenity site off the budget proposal.
thankfully it has had a stay of execution for 12 months, this time will now be used to explore ways to allow the site to continue. Solva community council and St Davids city council will now work together to come up with a solution for the long term security of the site.
Thank you once again, Diolch yn fawr iawn!
Richard Davies
Chairman Solva Community Council
