Hello Friends of the Forest,

Thank you so much for sharing and supporting this petition. We have been in touch with the City of Kirkland Clerk, and the schedule for the next City Council meeting has already been planned (we would not make it on the docket at such short notice.) We are now shooting for the Feb 6th meeting, and have collectively made a decision to keep this rolling until then. We are amazingly up to over 200 signatures. Can we get to 500 by Feb 6th? 

One of us neighbors will be addressing the City Council, in addition to submitting the petition.

If you have comments or concerns about the development that's taking place, please forward them, and we'll try to include them in the speech to the council. Additionally, any attendance by neighbors at that Feb 6th meeting would be welcomed.

Thanks again for your support. We may not have a chance against big developer money, but we owe it to the bobcats, deer, owls, coyotes, birds, and humans who care for this forest to speak up anyway.
