Plant Drive Park is Officially Closed

On June 24, 2025, the City of Palm Beach Gardens received and reviewed financial documentation from Palm Beach North Athletic Foundation (PBNAF) required to demonstrate compliance with its P3 agreement with the City. Accordingly, the City has determined that the financial documents provided indicate that PBNAF has acquired sufficient funding to satisfy its fifteen-month financial milestone, which is required to commence construction of the indoor ice rink. To remedy an outstanding reporting requirement, the nonprofit is expected to provide the City with a copy of its 2024 financial audit no later than June 30, 2025.

The City Engineer issued PBNAF a Notice to Proceed on June 25, 2025. Upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed, Plant Drive Park will be closed to the public. The next contractual obligation is for PBNAF to commence construction no later than July 3, 2025.
