Thanks very much for signing the petition. A quick update from this week:
- We've circulated 100s of leaflets to local residents and Beacon Fell visitors to raise awareness
- We've had a video interview with Lancashire Post at Beacon Fell, explaining the issues, and the overwhelming local support to stop the construction. This should be live Thurs 8th Feb!
- We've emailed our Local MP, Ben Wallace, to ask for his support
- We've spoken to Lancashire County Councillor, Sue Whittam who is fully supporting our campaign
- We've asked a local chartered planning consultancy for their feedback on the application, so we can formulate a full objection
- Goosnargh Parish Council (One of the consultees in the planning) have STRONGLY OBJECTED to the planning, with detailed reasons.
