O’Brien, a textile designer living in Wittenberg with Myoshin Thurman and their two children, aged 5 and 2 years, listened to the trooper explain that he was there to escort a Central Hudson employee who had come to replace their analog electric meter with a new digital model. “I asked if we had an alternative?
