Community Meeting - This Thursday 22 Feb 6:30pm

Thanks to everyone for your support so far. Please join us this Thursday at 6:30pm at the Waterford Circuit Tennis Courts for further discussions of the issues and planning. We have been working in the background with representatives from state government and local council to get some answers about how development has progressed in the way that it has, and more importantly, what we can do to ensure positive outcomes for the community in Lightsview. The next stage of consolidating our strategy will be a community meeting, 6:30pm this Thursday 22 February at the Waterford Circuit Tennis Courts, Lightsview. We will be hearing individual concerns, discussing the feedback we have had from council and state government, and working out the best way to look after our rights and interests as residents moving forwards. The looming State Election provides us a unique window of opportunity to pressure the state government, local government and PEET, into acting in the interests of their constituents, rather than the 'business as usual' greed that appears to have motivated their decisions to date.
