I am a local resident of an area directly exposed to a severe environmental, health, and lifestyle crisis. I live and own property in the area and have children attending nearby schools. Everyday harmful gases like methane and CO₂ would be emitted from the nearby industrial activities, and persistent foul odours would surround our homes, threatening the soil and water we rely on.

Regretfully, our predicaments wouldn't end there. An increased number of respiratory problems, headaches and even cancer risks could possibly linked to exposure to pathogens and heavy metals. Increased traffic and noise on local roads (RM-E17, RM-E27, RM-3) due to the said activities would  wreak havoc on our daily lives.

All this would  take place less than 2km away from residential areas of Camposol, El Paretón, Cantareros, and others, placing our families and homes in immediate danger. It's a well-documented fact that proximity to such harmful industrial emissions majorly contribute to unhealthy living conditions and diseases (source: World Health Organization). 

The time for change is now. Let us halt the harmful industrial activities near our homes, enforce stricter regulations, and prioritise the health of the community over anything else. Claiming our right to clean air, clean water, and a pollution-free environment, I urge you all to sign this petition and join our fight for healthier, safer living conditions.
