O problema

For over a decade, I've been involved in the Trap, Neuter, and Release (TNR) program for cats in Oak Cliff. Neighborhood cats, in their unique way, contribute to the rich tapestry of our community. They are not just feral animals – people in our neighborhood care for them and ensure their safety. However, David Spence of Good Space is disrupting this harmony. He's been trapping local cats and abandoning them miles away without food, water, or shelter. This behavior is not just shockingly inhumane; it's illegal.

This matter isn't merely a local nuisance – it's part of a larger, more significant context. On a global scale, countless animals suffer from unethical treatment daily. The Humane Society has highlighted that relocating animals without providing appropriate care is among such cruel practices. As per the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), relocation is a last-ditch solution and must be executed with extreme care to ensure the animals' safety.

By persisting in this cruel and unlawful behavior, David Spence is not only causing unnecessary distress to these creatures; he is also blatantly disregarding state laws and societal norms for the treatment of animals.

It is time to call for an immediate stop to this callous trapping and dumping of innocent cats. This petition implores veterinary professionals, animal activists, and kind-hearted citizens to raise their voices against this inhumane practice. We cannot stand idle while these animals suffer. Please sign the petition to discontinue David Spence's cruel actions towards our neighborhood cats.
