Thank you for supporting Peoplestown in our fight for answers regarding the Custer Avenue Stormwater/Sewage Vault.

On November 10, Councilmember Winston announced construction was starting and the city was "excited" to host a ribbon cutting event in the near future.

Peoplestown Neighborhood Association and neighbors have been requesting a meeting to address concerns about this project including health issues, construction impacts, and odor control.  Watershed Management has ignored our repeated requests since September 2024.

We are now taking our fight to Mayor Andre Dickens.  We are requesting to meet directly with the mayor to get answers.  This week we will be delivering this petition as well as neighborhood signed letter from Intrenchment Creek Community Stewardship Council (read the letter HERE) to the Mayor's office.  (You can add your name to the letter here.)

We want the address the flooding issues - but we want to make sure our concerns are addressed.
