The New York Times has just released a chilling article about our county and state considering the endorsement and training of organized militias. Three counties in VA have voted yes. We must send a message that this is not ok for Halifax VA. 

As you know the removal of our confederate monument has been added to the ballot for this presidential election. The removal of the statue is just the beginning needed to send a message to our county officials that we want our county to be a symbol of progress NOT violence and fear that would require an organized militia. 

November 4th is quickly approaching. We ask each and every one if you to please go vote if you have not done so already.
