This year in October the Hague will meet for the Eighth Meeting of the Special Commission on the Practical Operation of the 1980 Child Abduction Convention and the 1996 Child Protection Convention.

There is a lot of media attention on this right now which is great, I started this petition to change the defence laws over a year ago, we must make sure enough people sign to ensure change happens.

I, like many thousands of mothers am trapped alone across the other side of the world, separated from our families and friends, we need to give mothers who have endured this abuse their freedom to live their lives, free from abuse and control and free to be the loving, caring mothers they have longed to be.
