A MASSIVE THANK YOU to all that SIGNED and SHARED this petition - 1,729 - WOW.
Finally a decision was reached and guidelines introduced to stop this give away to "pseudo" business second home owners. According to Gwynedd County Council:
Self-catering accommodation, properties will not be eligible for grant unless the following criteria are met:
• The self-catering accommodation can produce two years of trading accounts to 31 March 2019
• The self-catering accommodation must actually have been let for a period of 140 days or more in the financial year 2019-20
• The self-catering accommodation business must be the primary source of income for the owner (minimum threshold is 50%).

This is now in the process of being implemented and involves around 1,800 properties - My friends I salute you justice will be done. All we need now is for the loop hole to be closed and Business Rates to be scrapped and replaced by a fair transparent tax.

It was this for of advertising that started this whole thing!
