GWPD has begun to arm its officers

Hello GW Alumni,

On September 1st, GW has armed two of its officers and plans to arm more by the end of September. This move comes amid community push back, on-campus activism against this decision, and feedback asking for a reassessment of GW's plan.

Please continue sharing this petition with other alumni, and together, with the allied Faculty, student bodies, and other groups working to overturn this decision, we can make our voices heard to GW Leadership and shift the focus from how to arm GWPD to whether they should be armed.
