Smash Mouth is currently classified as Pop Rock, but we feel this doesn't properly convey the message of their music. Having been in numerous commercials for T.G.I. Friday's, their music really captures the spirit of the restaurant that transcends the Pop/Rock genre. Just hearing the music evokes the feelings of eating their endless appetizers, trademarked Jack Daniel's BBQ sauce, and the rest of their delicious Guy Fieri inspired menu. This is a formal petition to have their genre changed to truly reflect their music, which will forever and always be T.G.I. Friday's.
