The current account method used in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius puts the accounts of people playing at risk. Facebook can ban accounts it considers illegitimate, and the owner of that account has no method for recovering whatever they have gotten in the game.
While facebook may consider accounts that fail to provide real user information against their terms of service, there are a substantial base of players that would prefer not to be subject to facebook's terms and conditions.
Moving to a system similar to the one used in the JP release would allow for a greater sense of privacy and security. It would assure users that they do not risk losing the money they have invested into their accounts.
