Problem
As an ardent viewer of Ishqbaaaz, I'd like to express my gratitude for providing us with a show that hasn't only made changes in the platform but also changed the viewpoints of Indian Television. Ishqbaaaz indeed is a show that has made its mark over the past two years.

While it is a team effort from the creative's side, the lead actors, Nakuul Mehta and Surbhi Chandna have kept the audience engaged with their outstanding performance and fantastic chemistry. They haven't only set a high benchmark as a couple, but also have been one of the trending pairs in the past two years.

Now, Certain rumors were going around about the show going for a generation leap and the lead actress, Surbhi Chandna being replaced, which was later confirmed by the show's producer Gul Khan herself. As long-term viewers of the show and admirers of the leading pair, we have expressed our unhappiness about the way the show appears to be moving forward. Additionally, a generation leap is a familiar concept on Indian television however, we believe it reflects a less innovative and regressive way of writing, contrasting Star Plus' tagline, "Baat Nayi".

Solution
It's our sincere request, that these changes in the show be disregarded. I understand the creatives are planning a new season for the show, but we believe it can move forward without a generation leap as well. In case Surbhi Chandna can't be retained, we are strong supporters of the show ending with the dignity it deserves. Nakuul Mehta and Surbhi Chandna have built Ishqbaaaz together. Together, they are the faces of Ishqbaaaz. They are the ones who have established such an enormous fanbase for the show. The absence of either of the actors wouldn't only affect the show's quality and progression, but also the immense love that Ishqbaaaz has been receiving these past 2 years.
