Stop The Sneaky Tax Grab! The Personal Tax Allowance Must Be Unfrozen In The Autumn Budget!

As well as rebutting the constant attacks on the Triple Lock, Silver Voices'  number one priority for the Autumn Budget is to persuade the Government to unfreeze the lower tax threshold which is bringing hundreds of thousands of older people into the tax system each year. 8.4 million pensioners are now paying some tax on their state pension each year and on their Triple Lock increases. We have described this tax grab as "sneaky and iniquitous."
