Afschot vandaag begonnen/cull started today/l'abattage a commencé aujourd'hui

Vandaag is het afschot van de edelherten begonnen. Op filmpjes van omroep Flevoland zie je herten van de ene naar de andere kant rennen. Er is paniek. De kleintjes zijn het eerste doelwit, daarna de vrouwtjes zelfs die die drachtig zijn. De weersomstandigheden maakt het de jagers niet gemakkelijker. 

Today the cull of deer has started. Hunters first aim for the babies, then the female even the pregnant ones. Images are shown by omroep flevoland that deer are running from one corner to the other totally panicked. 

L'abattage des cerfs a commencé aujourd'hui. Les chasseurs ciblent d'abord les petits, après les femelles même enceintes. Des images de la presse de flevoland montrent un grand panique dans le groupe des animaux qui courent d'un côté à l'autre.
