We just wanted to thank all of you for supporting this petition. We hope to keep sharing and bringing about change. We are so happy to hear RCOG and GBSS have been working together to produce a leaflet that will be given to all pregnant women as part of routine antenatal care. This was part of our wish, of course we would love routine screening to be offered, however this is a step in the right direction. It's vital that pregnant women are informed of GBS and the potential risk it brings to their baby. Women can now make an informed choice about private testing and be informed of where to they can access such a test. I'm sure many women will opt for private testing which will result in the number of babies affected by GBS being reduced. Please continue to share! 34,000 just by you all sharing is wonderful.
