When I say loved one's need to know about head trauma, this is why Cory didn't tell us about his head trauma or his arrest. But little things he said to me before his death started adding up after his death. He came to me and said "Mum I can't remember my 21st Birthday" because I didn't know about the injury I told him it was probably because he had too much to drink because everybody was buying him a drinks. When Cory was injured that night not one one of his friends came to the house in following weeks and said "is Cory OK " even this would of triggered us to ask the question "what do you mean what happened to Cory?" In another instance his Fathers birthday was in January he didn't remember that either even though it was posted on facebook. Was my son losing his memories because of his injury? I believe he also suffered from PTSD - Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and memory loss. If he was given the proper care and support after this traumatic experience he would be still be with us today.
