All Quiet on the RBK&C Front

It is now Friday 28th August 2020 and I have yet to hear from RBK&C about my offer of a date for checking the fire/smoke alarm system in the flat in question. Could it be that they now realise that they are standing on boggy ground-legally speaking? If they were REALLY concerned about human lives, why did 72 people perish in Grenfell Tower? Why did they and their contractors ABCA lose records of the fire/smoke alarm installation in SW10? Why is a council tenant allowed to smoke in the public areas of the said council property? How common is this problem? How long before people are killed as a result of THIS one tenant continuing to break the law? Is RBK&C just interested in looking good?
