SIGN THE PETITION! https://www.change.org/p/national-park-service-world-heritage-centre-please-remember-the-alamo The World Heritage organization has only recently become aware of citizen unrest at the Alamo, and the National Park Service advised the General Land Office (GLO) and the City of San Antonio that "We think it is likely that, given recent press coverage and the express intent of some members of the public to contact the Centre with concerns about the proposed Alamo Master Plan, we will be asked by the Centre for information about the project." The City of San Antonio has approved the controversial concept without a heritage impact assessment being prepared, or the process for submitting it (before a final decision is made) to the World Heritage Centre. Citizen complaints are classified as Reactive Monitoring Process Complaints. The World Heritage Centre and the Advisory Bodies review all information available on the state of conservation reports submitted by the State Party, information received from third parties, press articles, mission reports, etc and this petition and others are included in the process.
