Or contact the board after meeting times. Telehealth options should be included along with all the necessary precautions during Covid 19 disaster. You shouldhave available to you, expanded telehealth options with your TX dentist and your concerns matter, as the state dental board’s primary mission is to protect the public’s health and safety ***************

So here we are. Needing and looking forward to effective and protective standards from the dental board for those dentists, hygienists, and employees heading back very soon in this Covid 19 situation. And hoping that offices are able to secure the PPE they need right now to protect themselves and patients.
As for Telehealth for TX dentists and patients, it should be allowed and included, however, it may go back to being unregulated and any legislative change could be about a year out, aside from the Governors waiver. There’s many reasons to support expanding Telehealth options for TX dentists and patients, not the least of which is whether we will be dealing with another seasonal or “second wave” in winter as some have suggested.
However, you’re bringing much needed attention to Teledentistry and if you want to stay on it, we’ll keep and continue to grow support for expanded telehealth options for TX dentists on this platform, seek the Governor’s and legislators support and only update relevant or interesting info less frequently and push way later down the road as it gets closer to a session. Thank you!!
