This has been the school's name since the opening of the school. There is no need to change the school's name. Changing the name of this school will also change its history. It will change everything the school has stood for. Everything the school has done. All the awards it has achieved over the years since its opening. Why would you want to change the name of a school that has done so many great things for Greenville County. Every year we raise over $200,000 for charities not only in Greenville but many of them have been state wide charities desperately needing help. And each and every year the student body pulls through as Generals and we stand together and raise more and more money each year. As Generals we achieved one of the highest standards and became a Blue Ribbon school. We push ourselves hard every year as Generals. Our sports teams proudly do their best to represent this school and what Greenville is made of. We continually strive to be the best and we do that as Generals. We don't call ourselves anything else. But many people believe that it is time for the school's name to be changed. Now is the time we must again unite as Generals and keep our school's name intact.
