What Is The Current Legislation On Fox Hunting In Northern Ireland
Unfortunately, fox hunting along with deer hunting and hare hunting in Northern Ireland remains completely legal, being the only part of the UK where this is so. There have been several attempts to pass a bill to put similar restrictions on hunts alike to Welsh and English law – but the most recent hunting bill was rejected by the Northern-Irish Assembly in 2010.
General consensus in Norther Ireland is against fox hunting – with only 18% of the public thinking it should remain legal.
