Please spare an hour on Sunday, March 13th, 1- 2 pm DST, to have your voice heard and body seen - blanketing the land at "Lie Down for Lansdowne"!

This Lie Down is a message not only for the SD61 School Trustees, who vote on the land sale on Monday, March 14th, but also the Ministry of Education, who needs to approve the sale.

The event will be held on the Lansdowne South campus on the field slated to be sold (on Newton St). Please dress brightly and bring colourful blankets or tarps. And bring your kids - this is a family friendly event. Photos will be taken.

1) Continue to share the petition: www.change.org/do-not-sell-school-land to grow our numbers for Monday's petition presentation.

2) We have set up a Twitter account @DoNotSellSchoolLand - please retweet!

3) On Monday, March 14th, watch the SD61 School Board Trustees vote on the land sale. The meeting will be livestreamed, starting at 7:30 pm. Refresh your screen until the meeting appears.
