I would like to thank everyone who has signed this petition. I have really enjoyed reading all your thoughts about it and your recommendations of more worthy people that the hospital could have been named after. I am glad you all share my astonishment that in 21st century Glasgow, someone thought it would be a good idea to name a public building predominantly paid for by tax-payers money after such an unworthy person. If we continue to pursue signatures we should prevail. It's our hospital. Let's keep it up!
