Thank you so much for all your support so far. You have made some amazing comments and put forward brilliant reasons for building a new skate park.
I have contacted the Parish Council and the village newsletter about our campaign and they have been really positive so far.
The next parish council meeting is to be held on Tuesday 21st Jan at 730pm in the new village hall, Tile House Lane, the agenda will be put onto the website.
I am going along and would love it if others who have signed the petition would like to come along too. It will be item 4 near the start of the agenda so you can leave the meeting if you wish after.
This is what the Parish Council Clerk has said :
“At this early stage no decisions will be made by the parish council, the open space incorporating the play area is owned and maintained by Colchester Borough Council.”
I am going to contact Colchester Borough Council for their advice too. I will keep you all updated.
Please keep sharing the petition, it would be great if we could get to 100 signatures before the meeting next week.
