Please let people UK residents who have family living in red list countries to quarantine at home - as long as their travel purpose is to see family rather than a holiday. The cost of staying in a hotel is deterrent to many of us. Like me, many Brazilians living in London haven’t seen their parents for over a year. We feel helpless as there is no sign of Brazil moving to the amber list. Many of us can’t afford the costs of the hotel quarantine and feel hostage of such situation. If you allow 60,000 to watch a football match, surely you can allow people to see their relatives and visit to their hometown and implement a criteria beyond being fully vaccinated, such as taking a cab with divisors between driver and passenger and mandatory use of mask from the airport to a registered address.
