Having spent ages on an update on Sunday I pressed post - left this site and found that I hadn't pressed hard enough! I will no doubt have lots of stuff for people to do in the new year but today's update is mostly about happier things. Firstly I have some messages from the ladies and gents at COPS for Jacqueline who took the time to sign the petition on her wedding day and to leave a comment: 'How nice, I hope Jacqueline has a long and happy marriage. I hope that she doesn't have to wait too long to get her pension back - it could be our wedding present to her! x Well done for finding time to write this on your wedding day. Your words say it all. Congratulations and best wishes for your future happiness. Who knows justice may still be done....xxx Congratulations Jacqueline and enjoy your special day. I got married 2 years ago...I don't regret it for an instant, but, like you I have lost my security and independence. We supported our late husbands throughout their Police career, and they thought we would get looked after for life because of this.
