Morning all, Julie Butterworth as you will remember is the journalist that writes articles about our campaign for several police federation magazines. She has made an amazing offer to write the stories of those not benefitting from the current round of changes to the 1987 regulations. Her aim is to start a rolling programme of stories in the media and women's magazines with a story from widows in each region. We have one brave lady that has already volunteered to be our 'case history' for the federation, but she need not be alone now due to Julie's generous offer. Julie already has a media contact in Yorkshire so an early response from there would be greatly appreciated. People must fed up with my personal story and opinions by now and they are clearly not sufficiently emotive for some.
