We wanted to share an important update: Askari Lumumba (also known as Dale) will appear before the Virginia Parole Board on October 27, 2025.

After 25+ years of incarceration, since the age of 19, Askari has transformed his life. He has earned his GED, Paralegal Certification, and Advanced Business Law Certification, taught and mentored others in violence prevention, anger management, and recovery.
Even after the devastating loss of his wife, Nicole Demetria Rosser, in 2023, Askari has continued to grow, heal, and dedicate himself to helping others.

This is his moment for a second chance, and your continued support truly matters.

If you know Askari personally, or know others who do, please encourage them to send letters of support through the proper channels by October 10, 2025 so they can be included in his parole packet.
