Living in the rural village of Romsey is beautiful. However difficulties come with that such as parking for the school parents.
Romsey Abbey church have provided access to their car park which holds circa 13 car parking spaces, however residents with permits use those spaces also.
There are clearly 2 different companies working in Romsey for parking fines.
to avoid parents receiving multiple parking tickets for dropping off/collecting their child/children something needs to be enforced.
A drive through Drop off at the gate wouldn’t work through such a small village and with multiple schools in the area.
Could this be alerted to local MP to have a discussion with the parking attendendant companies to have a ‘black zone’
From 8.30-9am and 3- 3.30pm
This will give all parents sufficient time to find a space, drop off/collect their child/children and return back to their vehicles for a safe journey.
