Weeks ago, James Cameron analysed that Avatar: The Way of Water would have to make $2 billion to net a profit for Disney. And it may as well happen thanks to the film grossing over $1.9 billion. This makes the prospect of the 3-hour film much more likely to approach $2 billion within the coming few days.
