Lets hope that 2025 finally gives us some positivity and reform.

I wanted to just share with you the attached image and Shine a Light for Ruth Perry, two years on.

Schools week have an interesting article that is worth a read, it written by Edmund Barnett-Ward who was a friend of Ruth's but also a parent at the school.

Two years on, why we still fight for Ruth's legacy

Makes me sad reading the article, although there has been some movement in the right direction we are still dealing with an institution that is not really fit for purpose, in my opinion, but hopefully by continuing to have the discussion we can continue to push for the reform. 

It is hard to imagine, two years ago it was almost unheard of to speak out against Ofsted, but with the sad news of Ruth Perry's death and the anger that we felt, that a flood gate was opened and people started to make their voices heard, forcing discussion, people began to feel able to put their head above the parapet, let us continue to do just that!
