Our Saturday meeting was a huge success. Some 80 people packed into Roanoke's CoLab to see new plans that could #SaveFireStation7. Many were frustrated that the city never developed these options itself. Others couldn’t believe they’d been told this building isn’t “historic” even when it's listed alongside other Grandin Village structures on the National Register of Historic Places. This is the nation’s official list of “places worthy of preservation,” which means the entire U.S. considers our fire station both historic and also worth saving!
