In October 2016, I took my grandfather to Tim Hortons in Labrador City, NL. When we got to the entrance, we quickly realized that a) there was no button to automatically open the door and b) the is a hump at the bottom of the door where the sidewalk joins the building.

A man in the drive thru was very kind, he got out of his vehicle and helped me get my grandfather in.

The next day I contacted Alec Snow, owner of this specific franchise. He was totally on board with making Tims wheelchair accessible. 

A couple months later, a button was installed. I was told that in the summer they would fix the sidewalk problem. It is now August 7th and there has been NO work done. On top of this, the button is no longer working and nobody seems to be concerned about fixing it.

My grandfather, along with everybody else who has trouble getting around without assistance of a device such as a wheelchair or walker.. even parents/caregivers with strollers, should be able to access Tim Hortons inside with no issue!
