First milestone, 1000 signatures!

We have 1000 signatures so far which is great but we still have a way to go. Thank you to everyone who has already shared the petition, it is appreciated enormously. If you haven't shared it yet, please do and do tell us why you've signed as every story helps to build the bigger picture.

A lady recently shared a story of how she's been waiting over 18 months for treatment at her local 'Ear, Nose and Throat' department. After a quick check on the NHS website, she could have been treated in an average of 11 weeks at the Woodland Hospital in Darlington.

Another young man had torn a ligament in his knee which needed surgery. It took 7 months to get an MRI scan and they've been waiting for an appointment for treatment at the local hospital since March this year, calling once a week to check for cancellations. The Nuffield Hospital in Hereford could treat him in just 13 weeks.

I really believe we can all make a difference. This is our service, we all pay into it and I believe this is what every single patient in the UK wants.

If we're willing to travel, I believe we have the right to be seen as quickly as possible for the sake of our health and quality of life. If that flexibility also helps take pressure off of NHS staff, then it's an absolute no brainer.
