As you know that, India is the largest country, having high number of livestock population in the world. In rural India, most of the poor livestock farmers are far away to the veterinary services to protect their livestock. The most of them are purely depended on their livestock for their livelihood and no government is providing proper veterinary services to them by establishing required number of Graduate Veterinary Institutions as well as filling the vacancies of staff. But there are many para veterinary professionals are serving the poor livestock farmers in protecting their livestock and livelihood by providing their door step services in the interior areas by 24/7, where a graduate Vet not shows interest to do so. But due to lobbying from many years by veterinary graduates in the country. Governments are doing laws in favour of them only like VCI ACT 1984 and empowered with all rules and regulations. Even some minor services and extension works also engaged to them, which doesn't need any kind of technical superiority and instructed us to do any kind of technical and non technical work under their supervision only. Is this right? No, many of us have the field technical experience in minor veterinary services in some extent major services also. We have connect with the livestock farmers for years and years. But it will not see by the Governments. They made them to see only BVSc&AH Degree Certificates in the country and No need of Para Veterinary Services to the farmers. But we are serving the nation, even we don't have sufficient recognition for sake of dumb animals and poor livestock farmers. Its time to raise our voice for RECOGNITION, REGISTRATION OF VARIOUS PARA VETERINARY COURSES RUNNING IN THE COUNTRY IN ONE UMBRELLA. I HOPE ALL THE PARA VETERINARY PROFESSIONALS WILL ADD THEIR HANDS.
