I tried to get a job in an Orthopedic journal editorial board

I reviewed Ortho cases for one year and was adjudjed the best reviewer for that year and was also assured to get a berth in the editorial board. But that did not happen. This was an online work with no remuneration and in those days 1GB data cost me 98 INR. And I was paying dearly from the money that I got after selling my property. Moreover I had to meet the expenses if hotel food and lodge accomodation. So no job in the journal.
