🚨 PROTEST ALERT: STAND UP FOR MICHIGAN’S WILDLIFE & RESCUES!

Support Michigan Duck Rescue & Sanctuary (MDRS) and Detroit Animal Welfare Group (DAWG) as we protest the Michigan DNR’s cruelty, corruption, and lack of transparency. Demand that these rescues receive the permits they need to help Michigan Wildlife.
For too long, the DNR has operated without oversight — approving wildlife killings with no Michigan-based science or studies, wasting taxpayer dollars, and playing GOD with our wildlife.
They continue to target swans, geese, coyotes, and deer, while denying permits to legitimate rescues that actually help animals. There are no checks and balances, no transparency, and no accountability for where their money goes.
This protest is our chance to show lawmakers and the public that we demand change.
We want bipartisan oversight, transparency, and humane management — not cruelty and cover-ups.
The Oversight Subcommittee on Weaponization of State Government will be holding a hearing at 9 am at the Capitol targeting the DNR and their overreach while we protest outside.
The DNR Has Targeted Nearly All Wildlife
No license is needed to kill rabbits, squirrels, opossums, raccoons, muskrats, and more.
The DNR is responsible for gassing geese, slaughtering mute swans, allowing sharpshooters in residential areas to kill deer, and now wants to kill coyotes year-round — including mothers and their pups in their dens.
The DNR’s record of killing Michigan’s wildlife is long, cruel, and deeply disturbing.

There’s a wide sidewalk around the Capitol building, WE MUST STAY ON THE SIDEWALK — let’s fill it and show our unity!
